She has an exceptional eye for color, scale, balance, texture, furniture placement, and the way individual elements work together too create an apace that feels both polished and inviting. She does not simply choose beautiful pieces; she understands how a room should function, how it should flow, and how it should make the people living in it feel. Kristen began helping us with our home remodel project at a time when we were completely overwhelmed by interior design decisions to be made regarding style and color throughout our home.
Taking our design aesthetic into account, and not pressuring us one way or another, she gave us consistently helpful advice as we stepped through myriad of options in terms of flooring, cabinetry, tile selection, paint colors, grout colors, light fixtures, mirror selection, and more.
At times when we were indecisive, she would nudge us gently in a way that helped us resolve whatever reservations we had about moving in a certain direction.
Additionally, Kristen connected us with so many wonderful people who helped us realize the vision we had for our home.
From the master carpenters who built closets, powder room wainscot, two gorgeous fireplace mantels, and window and door trim, to the wallpaper professional who did beautiful job installing wallpaper in our powder room, we wouldn't have connected with these talented tradespeople without Kristen.
We couldn't recommend her more highly!

Kristen is extremely talented with an amazing eye. What I learned and appreciated most, was her ability to think about design and decor within the realm of a vacation unit. She helped brighten up the space combining vintage with modern timeless design, while staying within budget. She considered wear and tear, space, and usage by guests. Kristen listened and then presented a design portfolio of her ideas and suggestions. It was beautiful and included photos, prices, and places to purchase. Thank you Kristen for all you did (seen and unseen) to give our rentals the facelift they so needed.

I had been sitting on the fence regarding what to do about the overwhelming amount of honey oak in my home for nearly ten years. I had ideas, but wasn't confident that it was the right direction. Kristen came over and she not only validated what I wanted to do, she offered fresh ideas and gave great tips on how to move forward. It was so worth it for me to bounce ideas around with a design professional. Now, I'm finally making progress with our plan and it feels great!

Kristen, I can't thank you enough! I had a picture wall that never looked quite right. After looking at it for a couple of minutes, you knew exactly how we should arrange the photos. I love how it turned out; you have a great eye!
We had a craft area with cupboards full of art supplies for the kids. Over the years, it was over stuffed and overwhelming! It was always on my "to do list", but I never got to it. You helped me by grouping things and getting rid of items that were no longer useful. It looks great with labeled totes, and everything has a place.

I had a unique request. I travel a fair amount for business, and had collected many hotel keys. I was in search of a stylish and classy way to showcase them. Kristen came up with a unique solution to build a wood frame from left over white oak hardwood flooring to create a key holder with black contemporary hooks. The final product exceeded my expectations and is a cool piece of wall art in my home office. I highly recommend Kristen, and look forward to continuing to work with her as the need arises.
